An invention with a human purpose
Simplice ZAMBO-BEDOS
Founder, inventor and President of TOUAWEN S.A.S. His work aims to make clean, autonomous cooking available to households and organisations where reliable energy is limited.
The invention combines photovoltaic capture, stored energy and controlled electric cooking. The current priority is an integrated, testable prototype, supplier coordination and preparation for industrialisation.

Your main questions
How does PlaqueSol One work ?
Photovoltaic energy is stored in a LiFePO₄ battery and then used for electric cooking beneath a glass-ceramic surface. Cooking does not require a grid connection at the time of use.
Can it cook when the sun is not shining ?
Cooking uses previously stored energy and remains possible while sufficient battery energy is available. Solar charging depends on sunlight conditions.
Which battery is planned ?
The P0 RevB reference is an 8S LiFePO₄ battery rated at 25.6 V nominal and 80 Ah, or 2.048 kWh nominal. Integration and protection systems remain subject to prototype testing.
What is the runtime ?
Runtime depends on power, heating cycles, losses and protection thresholds. Final figures will follow instrumented tests; no runtime is guaranteed here.
What price is shown ?
The reservation amount is €360, with a full refund on request until the final order is confirmed. The €360 is fully credited towards the product price; no additional product-price balance is charged. Any delivery charges must be disclosed and agreed separately.
Does the test website collect payments ?
No. Payments are not enabled on prep.touawen.com and no balance is automatically charged.
How does the refund guarantee work ?
Until the final order is confirmed, you may cancel and request a full refund by emailing contact@touawen.com with your name, email address and reservation reference. TOUAWEN refunds the full amount without fees to the original payment method, without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving the request. If TOUAWEN cancels the reservation or abandons the project, the amount is refunded in full. This commercial guarantee is additional to, and does not restrict, applicable statutory rights.
Preserve essential everyday activities
A stored-energy cooking solution can complement preparedness for power cuts, outdoor use and isolated sites, within the available energy reserve. It does not replace the contents of an official emergency kit or safe drinking-water supplies.
